EMVCo certifies MagicCube software-based solution
MagicCube reported that EMVCo certified its Software Trusted Execution Environment platform. Upon receiving the certificate, Nancy Zayed, MagicCube co-founder and chief technology officer, thanked EMVCo for recognizing the company's software-based mobile payments solution. "We are proud to lead a category that will shift the security of mobile and IoT devices into a whole new paradigm we like to call Software Defined Trust," she said.

Massive, automated attacks on ecommerce shopping carts, designed to imitate legitimate hand-offs to secure checkout sites, robbed consumers of credit card credentials and personally identifiable information, according to the report.
