MWAA event free for the feet on the street

The Midwest Acquirers Association is offering merchant level salespeople (MLSs) free admission to its conference in Cleveland this summer.
The MWAA's 5th Annual Conference will take place July 25 to 27, 2007, at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel. The event will offer educational sessions, panel discussions, an exhibit hall and plenty of fun.
Topics will cover picking the right processor, selling effectively and understanding security standards affecting ISOs. Tom Wimsett of NPC will be the keynote speaker, and the MWAA will present an individual with a Lifetime Achievement award.
Other goodies: a party and dinner at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum; a tour at Jacobs Field; and a Texas Hold 'Em charity poker tournament.
Registered ISOs, MLSs and exhibitors can also attend the Field Guide Seminar July 25.
That half-day seminar, a practical guide to ISO sales success, will include presentations from six industry leaders on topics such as lead generation; hiring, training and keeping good salespeople; proposal selling; and merchant retention.
The MWAA is a not-for-profit, no-membership, independent forum dedicated to bankcard industry professionals, including ISOs and MLSs.
