Free registration for NEAA meeting expires May 23

The Northeast Acquirers Association (NEAA) is offering an early registration incentive for its upcoming Summer Seminar: All nonvendor attendees who sign up by May 23, 2007, will receive free admission.
Those who register after that date (including at the door) will be charged $150. Nonvendor attendees are those "directly providing electronic payment services to retail establishments," said NEAA President Jacques Breton.
The event, which will take place June 12 to 14, 2007, in Providence, R.I., at the Westin Hotel, will offer networking and educational opportunities for ISOs, merchant level salespeople (MLSs), vendors and other payment professionals.
The meeting will kick off June 12 with a cocktail reception, as well as a Texas Hold 'Em charity poker tournament sponsored by United Bank Card Inc.
Session topics the following day will include the latest issues concerning data security; a new selling opportunity in dynamic currency conversion; and a high-level look at some industry trends from consultant Paul Martaus.
The National Association of Payment Professionals will also sponsor two presentations: Marketing 101 and How to Maximize Profits and Leads on the Web.
After an early breakfast on June 14, the event will close with a golf tournament, which requires a $50 registration fee per person.
The NEAA is a not-for-profit, nonmembership association. It was founded as an educational forum for financial institutions and ISOs, merchant service providers and MLSs in the bankcard acquiring industry.
Events are made possible through vendor sponsorships and minimal registration fees. For more information, visit www.northeastacquirers.com .
